Kick off the New Year right and get ready for the ultimate winter hockey experience at one of Buffalo’s coolest venues, The RiverWorks! This isn’t your average tournament… it’s a celebration of everything we love about hockey, winter, and having a blast with friends.
Lace up for our Winter Classic 3v3, where the ice is fast, the energy is high, and the jerseys? Let’s just say they’ll make Grandma proud; ugly holiday sweaters never looked this good.
BradyFilms will be on site all day capturing every celly, snipe, and dangle, plus the smiles, laughs, and chaos in between.
We'll have fun giveaways, prizes, and awards, holiday music pumping all day, and a chance for players, siblings, and friends (ages 7+) to add on access to the Urban High Ropes Course – Lower Level for an extra dose of adventure.
Expect:
- Individual player registration
- 6 skaters, 1 goalie per team
- 12 minutes cross-ice games
- 5 game minimum, 8 game maximum
- High-tempo 3v3 action: fast, fearless, and full of highlight plays

Welcome to RiverWorks
Welcome to Buffalo RiverWorks, one of the most unique hockey venues in the country and the perfect spot for our Winter Classic 3v3! Set right on the Buffalo River, RiverWorks is more than just a rink, it’s an experience (just like all of our events).
Players will skate on semi-enclosed outdoor rinks surrounded by towering silos and a buzzing atmosphere. Inside, parents can stay warm and enjoy great food, drinks, and the IIHF World Juniors and lead up to the NHL Winter Classic streaming on big screens while the kids battle it out outside.
And there’s something for everyone; arcade games, axe throwing, and a ropes course add to the excitement for siblings and friends. The entire space hums with Buffalo pride and energy, making it the perfect blend of hockey, entertainment, and family fun.
Oh, and if you’re lucky, you just might catch that sweet scent of Lucky Charms or Cheerios drifting over from the nearby General Mills plant.
